I fly Lilongwe–Blantyre most weeks for board meetings. Two departures a day means I can go up in the morning and be home for dinner. That is not normal on this continent.
Before the Likoma service, guests lost a full day each way to the ferry. Now they land at ten and are in the water by eleven. It changed what we can sell.
The Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday flight from Lilongwe means our Malawi-based guests can add South Luangwa to a trip without losing a day to road transfers.
Newsroom
Our first regional route is open for booking: Lilongwe to Mfuwe, gateway to South Luangwa National Park, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The aircraft takes the Year 1 fleet to three — two ATR 42-600s and one Embraer ERJ135 — giving the domestic and Mfuwe schedules operational resilience from day one.
Lusaka and Harare are proposed for Year 2, with Johannesburg, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam to follow in Year 3 as the ATR 72-600 and Boeing 737-800 join the fleet.
