Likoma Airlines is preparing for launch — flights aren't operating yet.

Likoma Airlines Limited

Special assistance

Tell us what you need and it will be arranged, at both ends of the flight.

Ask for assistance at least 48 hours before departure, through Manage booking or by calling the contact centre. That lead time is what lets us have the right equipment and the right people waiting at both airports rather than improvising on the day.

Wheelchair assistance is available from the terminal entrance to the aircraft seat and back again. If you travel with your own wheelchair it is carried free of charge and does not count towards your baggage allowance; battery-powered chairs need to be declared so the battery can be handled correctly.

Passengers who are blind or have low vision, or who are deaf or hard of hearing, are met at check-in and briefed individually by the cabin crew. Recognised assistance dogs travel in the cabin at no charge on domestic sectors, subject to the destination's import rules.

If you need to travel with medical equipment, oxygen, or refrigerated medication, contact us before booking. Most requirements can be accommodated; a few need clearance from our medical adviser, and that takes a few days.

Unaccompanied minors aged 5 to 11 are checked in by our staff, escorted to the aircraft, cared for by the crew and handed to a named adult on arrival.
