Health and safety
How we look after you in the air, and how to look after yourself.
Our operating procedures are aligned to the IATA Operational Safety Audit standard, and our engineering is carried out to EASA Part-145. Safety is the one area of this business where we do not look for efficiencies.
Cabin air on the jet fleet is fully exchanged every two to three minutes and passes through HEPA filtration. Aircraft are cleaned between every rotation, with touch surfaces treated on each turn.
On sectors over two hours, move around the cabin when the seatbelt sign is off and drink water regularly. If you have a history of deep vein thrombosis or circulatory problems, speak to your doctor before you fly.
If you are unwell in the days before travel, contact us. Changing a flight is straightforward; travelling while infectious is not fair on the cabin around you.
Our crew are trained in first aid and the aircraft carry a medical kit. On longer sectors the flight deck can consult a ground-based medical service in real time.
